Based at our Sutton Bonington Campus, this highly regarded course has a strong practical element, whereby students work in close collaboration with animals and/or undertake laboratory procedures in our purpose-built facilities. As well as access to a fully operational farm, and specialist laboratories on campus, you will also be able to take full advantage of our strong links with other regional research and commercial enterprises, such as nearby Twycross Zoo. Throughout your degree you will have considerable flexibility over your module choices, with the option to follow either the Physiology and Health or Production and Nutrition pathway in year two, tailoring the course to suit your interests and aspirations. In addition, you can take advantage of an optional paid industry placement between years two and three.
