The Graduate Diploma of Arts Research is an honours year equivalent and will provide high achieving students who do not already have the required research component, with the expertise to progress into a Graduate Research program offered by the Faculty. You will complete a combination of coursework and research in your chosen humanities and social sciences discipline. You will also undertake research methodology training and carry out an independent research project in your selected discipline, working closely with a supervisor who will provide you with individual guidance and academic counselling. The course comprises 48 points including a combination of coursework and research. Part A Part A coursework, which will orient you to humanities and social science research approaches and methodologies Part B Part B research, where you will apply your understanding when you carry out an independent research project in your selected discipline working closely with a supervisor who will provide you with individual guidance and academic counselling.
