You will acquire extensive knowledge of literary texts and discourses, learning the critical skills to analyse these works and developing the cultural vocabulary to communicate your ideas about them. You will be introduced to a range of thought-provoking critical and theoretical approaches to literature and film. You will also discover historical, social and psychological perspectives which will enhance your understanding of literary works and cinema, allowing you to place them in their proper historical, international and cultural contexts.
