This 4-year programme includes 2 years of research training (MSc Economics and MRes in Advanced Economics). We offer a full range of expertise, but the following areas are of particular strength: Labour Economics Macroeconomic Theory and Applications Regional Economics (especially Wales) International Trade and Finance Econometrics, Theory and Forecasting Finance Economic History Distinctive features The department has an impressive record in obtaining research grants. A large number of prominent academics outside the Business School undertake collaborative research with those within. There is great strength and diversity of research within the department.
