The MSc Advanced Practice (Community Health Studies) course aims to offer a flexible and innovative educational opportunity to professionals working within community health and social care settings in order to develop and enhance practice. Course fee funding is available from the Welsh Government’s Workforce, Education and Development Services (WEDS), for nurses currently working in the community in Wales, or those whose future roles will be in the community, for the core Fundamentals module and for additional modules in consultation with your manager and the pathway lead. Advanced clinical practice is an evolving process in which new skills are continuously being developed and refined in response to the needs of clients and the development of services in community settings. This course has been designed to meet the needs of practitioners working in these settings by providing a range of modules to enable you to explore and develop your own practice.
