You’ll learn how to link theory with practice whilst enjoying the extensive sporting facilities at UEA. You will hone your skills as a development practitioner within the highly regarded School of Education and Lifelong Learning with an embedded placement and research experience as part of the course.**Course Structure:****Year 1**Core modules cover topics including psychology, physiology, skill acquisition and fitness and training.You’ll take the compulsory module Academic and Professional Practice. This will smooth your transition into higher education, whatever your academic background, and give you the opportunity to undertake sports-industry-based voluntary work.**Year 2**You will study a combination of compulsory and optional modules from different aspects of the development of sport including psychology of physical activity and behaviour change, partnerships in sport provision, an extended placement with a local organisation or national governing body of sport and research enquiry amongst others. You can also choose modules delivered across the university such as British Sign Language, International Development and Introduction to Business.**Year 3**In your final year you will design and implement your own research project under the supervision of a member of staff. You’ll also choose from a range of optional modules to complement or extend your previous study and future career aspirations.
