You’ll learn how to link theory with practice whilst enjoying the extensive sporting facilities at UEA.**Course Structure:****Year 1**Core modules cover topics including psychology, physiology, skill acquisition and fitness and training.You’ll take the compulsory module Academic and Professional Practice. This will smooth your transition into higher education, whatever your academic background, and give you the opportunity to undertake sports-industry-based voluntary work.**Year 2**You’ll study a combination of compulsory and optional modules from different aspects of physical education, sport and physical activity. This will allow you to tailor your learning to your future career aspirations. Modules include Psychology of Physical Activity, Partnerships in Sport Provision, Policy and Practice in Physical Education, and an extended placement with a local organisation or school, amongst others.You’ll also have the chance to choose modules delivered across the university such as British Sign Language and Introduction to Business.**Year 3**In your final year you’ll design and implement your own research project under the supervision of a member of staff.
