The main areas of practice are: Music Composition and Production, Sound and Design and Composition, Studio Recording and Production, Music Technology, Performance and Interactivity. Future career: Our course will set you up to take full advantage of the demand for innovation in creative and technical practice. The rigorous levels of analysis and musicianship you’ll achieve will equip you for a wide range of music-related careers. Graduates can pursue skills-based careers working as practitioners in the following roles: music producer, composer, sound designer, studio engineer, live sound engineer, and software design. They can also pursue similar careers in teaching or working for local community organisations, or careers in the music industry: working for an independent or major record label, music publishing, music and music technology journalism. Finally, the course equips you to enter into postgraduate study in music production, sound production, sound design, music technology in performance, or cultural theory.
