This course consists of a number of self-contained, taught modules, organised around the various areas of Civil Engineering. There is a highly practical emphasis to our Diploma. You will learn the general theory and then apply it during fieldwork and by working on projects in our extensive laboratories, using the latest software. These projects provide you with the learning opportunities and practical skills you will use in your future career. You will leave with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the most up-to-date practices and theories in civil engineering. You will have the option to transfer to our MSc course, providing you meet the required standard. Many of our PGDip students go on to become accredited chartered engineers.
