This course is designed for those who want to follow careers in industry or research. This course is accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) for the purpose of meeting, in part, the educational requirement for chartered status. Your assessments will mainly be examinations and regular homework. In your third year, you'll do a group project, assessed by written report and a poster presentation. In your fourth year, you'll do a final project that combines a final report, presentation, and short written assignments.
