This is a four-year multidisciplinary degree where the four compulsory Chinese language and culture modules will be taught at the School of Modern Languages and Cultures and in the Department of History. Students choose a selection of other modules relevant to the study of China from other departments, including Anthropology, Government and International Affairs, Philosophy, Economics, Geography, Law and Religious Studies. All students will spend their third year studying either the Chinese language at a university in China or the Japanese language at a university in Japan.
