Spanish - Whether you’re coming to us as a complete beginner, or you’ve already studied Spanish to A-level, this exciting course will give you a high level of fluency and accuracy in spoken and written Spanish. Throughout the degree we’ll explore Spanish and Latin American culture and you’ll also gain an in-depth understanding of contemporary Spanish and Latin American society. To further increase your career options you can take a final year module that develops translation and interpreting skills. To provide opportunities to develop language skills outside the classroom, you’ll have access to our excellent language resource centres which provide: internet access, audio-visual facilities, an extensive library of the latest Spanish-language films, computer-aided language learning software, course-related books, materials and periodicals.
