This course offers a broad curriculum, covering periods from AD 700 to the present day, with subject areas as diverse as dictatorship and warfare to youth and gender. We offer a wide range of options so that you have the greatest possible choice of areas to study in-depth. This course provides an understanding of the broad historical, social, political and cultural forces that have shaped contemporary Europe. Unique to this course is the opportunity to specialise in European Cultural Studies, European Cinema, or European Politics and Society. You can also select a variety of modules across these three subject areas.
