This course explores a wide range of issues and the ways in which education policy affects practice. Based around the core threads of sociology, psychology and social policy, it allows you to explore education in its broadest sense and education practice within a variety of contexts. You will look at the processes and philosophies around learning, how education is constructed and impacts social justice and inequalities, and the influences of policy changes on education and the curriculum.**Please note that 2018 will be the final intake of this course.**

Students who completed High School Year 2 grades of 70% and above will be considered for foundation courses at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC) and those who hold High School Year 3 grades of 80% and above will be considered for International Year One courses at NTIC.
