The environment is a major focus of teaching within the School and Geography is central to this. You will learn about the physical processes that shape the earth and the relationship between human kind and the environment. Students will develop knowledge and transferable skills across traditional subject boundaries and address the major environmental challenges facing mankind today. This programme focuses on the physical processes occurring within earth systems and how these impact upon human activity. Both courses place an emphasis on field visits and fieldwork as well as opportunities to enhance employability through professional placements and skills development. You will study 120 credits worth of modules in each year.
