This degree programme is designed to allow students to develop a thorough understanding of contemporary physics as applied to modern renewable energy science. The goal is to allow students to complete a physics degree with the skills and employment opportunities that entails but with an emphasis on the physics underpinning renewable energy. A variety of assessment methods is used, in some cases we will ask you to submit coursework and laboratory reports, in others you will take examinations, and sometimes we will simply ask you to discuss what you have achieved. On completion of this course MSci graduates draw on an extended project, which gives a strong foundation for those who want to continue into PhD or industrial research.
