This integrated Masters’ course will mean students will leave with a postgraduate qualification through completing an additional year of study. If they have a passion for physics this course will provide the theory and practical experience needed to understand important physical phenomena. Classes cover diverse topics such as particle physics, climate change and quantum information, while in the laboratory they will perform experiments to investigate quantum behaviour, understand atomic processes and measure the Earth’s magnetic field. They will learn from academic experts in areas such as nanostructure devices, renewable energy and soft matter. They will also have the possibility of a placement year undertaking research in a company or national physics laboratory.
