A final year research project will cement your learning, giving you the knowledge, independent critical-thinking and problem-solving skills needed to become a well-rounded chemist in this fast-paced industry, or continue on into academia. BSc (Hons) Chemistry is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) for partially meeting the academic criteria for Chartered Chemist (CChem), and with the opportunity to take a year in industry, Chemistry will give you the professional, transferrable and research skills to prepare you for a career in research, teaching or industry.
