The LLB Global Law is a merger of the pre-existing LLB with a Year in Hong Kong, LLB English and Chinese Law and the LLB Global Law. This programme proposal has been submitted as a result of advice from ARCS even though this new programme is effectively a merger of three pre-existing programmes. The programme duration is four years: the first two are spent at Queen Mary; the third is a year at a participating university; the final year is at Queen Mary. The core modules studied at Queen Mary satisfy professional requirements for the foundations of legal knowledge and skills in England and Wales and some other jurisdictions. The third year of the programme is spent as an exchange student in the Faculty of Law at a participating university, where students follow a programme of legal study (through the medium of English) approved by the host university and the Head of the Department of Law at Queen Mary. The final year is back at Queen Mary.
