This course is ideal if you have a passion for languages and want to combine specialist Spanish language skills and cultural training with learning about business in an international context. You will spend 25% of your time studying Spanish at Warwick's School of Modern Languages and Cultures, with a guaranteed study placement in your third year at an institution. Alternatively you could opt to work overseas for a year, using your language skills in the business world. You will be assessed through a combination of end of year examinations and on-going assessments, which may include essays, research assignments, projects, case study analysis, class tests, presentations and group work. Our dedicated WBS Careers Plus team provides specialised careers services solely for WBS students including: 1-2-1 careers coaching; Career planning and preparation workshops; Employer events and Work placements and internships. We organise and facilitate employer events on summer internships, year-in-industry placements and graduate opportunities. We also host employer-led skills workshops and run informal networking sessions. Bespoke employer events organised specifically for our students have seen the likes of EY, L’Oréal, Aldi, Johnson & Johnson, Royal Bank of Scotland, Grant Thornton UK LLP, Accenture and Aston Martin visit WBS, providing students with great networking opportunities and links to top local, national and international brands.
