The aim of this degree is to equip you with a solid foundation in contemporary mathematics and its applications. Depending on your particular interests, you will be given the opportunity to follow the general curriculum or to specialise in concrete areas of pure mathematics, applied mathematics, numerical simulation or data analysis. There is a basic 'tool kit' which every Mathematics undergraduate needs to master; such tools belong mainly but not exclusively to the realm of Pure Mathematics. You can choose your Minor from a wide range of subjects across the arts, humanities, sciences and social sciences.
