This programme provides a systematic multidisciplinary approach to central controversies in the comparative analysis of public policy responses to immigration and migrant integration issues across different levels of governance. This programme offers a unique range of courses that will deepen students' knowledge of migration and mobility issues and help them gain new insight into public policy responses to international migration at the global, regional, national and local level. Students will also have the opportunity to attend and participate in the established public lecture and seminar series organised by the LSE Migration Studies Unit. The programme provides an outstanding preparation for further research work or for a career in international institutions, the public services, NGOs or with one of the growing number of organisations in the private sector that are concerned with immigration issues.
