The MAppEc rigorous training in econometric and quantitative methods will attracts outstanding students to the University. In particular influential economic policy advisors in prominent organs of national executive government (especially PM&C and Treasury) have found very appealing the way the MAppEc provides a training in putting national policy issues in a quantified frame.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion, students will have the skills and knowledge to:
access the technical academic literature in most fields of study in applied economics and econometrics;
be capable of undertaking independent research in applied economics and econometrics at the graduate level and provide intuition for the results;
have the capacity to analyze the economic effects of policy changes in several fields of economics.

Applicants must have completed a recognised undergraduate or postgraduate degree, certificate and/or relevant work experience, as appropriate, and satisfied any individual program subject prerequisites. English Language Requirements accepted: a score of 570 with TWE score of 4.5 in TOEFL (paper based test); Cambridge CAE Advanced score of 80 (Grade A); PTE Academic overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 55 in each section. For applicants under medicine program, undergraduate law, and legal workshop programs should hold: a score of 600 with TWE score of 5.0 in TOEFL (paper based test); Cambridge CAE Advanced score of 95 (Grade A); PTE Academic overall score of 70 with a minimum score of 60 in each section.

Students must have a Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 4.5/7.
Academic IELTS overall score of 6.5 with at least 6 in each component of the test; TOEFL internet based test score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening; TOEFL paper based test score of 570 with TWE score of 4.5; Cambridge CAE Advanced score of 176 overall with at least 169 in all sub skills; PTE Academic score of Overall 64, minimum score of 55 in each section.
