The specialisation provides a deep understanding of the complex interplay of the social, political, economic and biophysical factors that are involved in environmental planning approaches. In adopting an interdisciplinary approach, you will develop essential skills and knowledge in social and environment fields to prepare you for a variety of planning positions in the public and private sector. KEY FEATURES This specialisation combines lectures, workshops, tutorials and field visits to ground theory to practice, and is accredited by the Australian Institute of Planning. You'll focus on environmental policy and practice, and learn how this applies to strategic land use planning and assessment.
