This unique course will give you the skills you'll need to facilitate access to communication across a range of contexts for those whose access is limited. It draws on intercultural communication, translation and interpreting, accessibility, applied linguistics, editing and publishing, and disability studies. With such wide-ranging knowledge, you'll excel as a communication facilitator with specialised skills in accessible communication. KEY FEATURES With the strengths you'll develop in professional practice, you'll be able to provide linguistic access services to communities who are excluded from communication due to linguistic, cultural, physical or context-determined barriers. You’ll be able to tailor a program of study to suit your interests in areas such as translating and interpreting, publishing and editing, and applied linguistics.
