Overview
Psychologists seek to understand how the mind works and why people behave the way they do. They focus on the complexities of human behaviour how development occurs, how personality forms, and how factors like society and culture affect behaviour and seek to provide strategies that can help people lead happier, healthier and more productive lives.
This prestigious course prepares you for a career in specialist fields such as clinical psychology, clinical neuropsychology or organisational psychology. It involves three years of accredited undergraduate study followed by an honours year in which you complete a research thesis and advanced coursework units. This enables you to apply for entry to a professional masters course focused on your career of choice.

Applicants must have a recognised secondary (high school) qualification. English Language Requirements: IELTS Academic: Overall 6.5; TOEFL iBT: 83, Reading 19, Writing 24, Listening 12, Speaking 18; Pearson test of English (PTE) academic general score of 58; Cambridge English: advanced (CAE) general score of 180; CPE: Score of 180; Occupational English test (OET) score of Grade B or above.

Students will need to have completed one or more of the following academic qualifications: A recognized senior secondary school qualification or university entrance examination, such as the New South Wales Higher School Certificate (NSW HSC) or other equivalent Australian or overseas high school qualification; A recognized university Foundation course; A recognized 2 or 3-year Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree; At least one year of a university degree from a recognized institution.
You may satisfy the English language requirements if you have completed: senior secondary studies equivalent to the NSW HSC; one year of Australian or comparable tertiary study in a country of qualification
IELTS of 6.5 overall with minimum 6.0 in each band, or equivalent.
