The Master of Engineering (Environmental) provides graduate Engineers or a science graduate who has completed a four year degree program with discipline specific knowledge and technical skills in advanced environmental engineering and sciences. The program focuses on environmental technologies and management with key areas in water supply, wastewater treatment, cleaner production and waste management, site remediation, air and noise pollution control, sustainable energy and water resources. You will develop capacity to design, simulate and analyse engineering solutions related to environmental protection that leads to sustainable development. You will also develop capacity to assess environmental risks and manage environmental aspects of different industries. What you will study You will complete the core subjects in Engineering Computing, Project Management, Innovation & Design, and Research Methods. For the Environmental Engineering major you will study subjects in Water Quality Engineering and Management, Environmental Engineering Process Design, Industrial Waste Engineering and Cleaner Production, Membrane Processes and Applications, Site Contamination and Remediation Technologies, Sustainable Energy Technologies, and Air and Noise Pollution Management. Course Learning Outcomes Students graduating from the Master of Engineering will be able to: Research and synthesise key information, and apply expert judgement in engineering design and project planning.
