The Master of Engineering (Asset Management) has been designed to benefit a wide range of professional engineers, including those currently working in the roles of:

Graduate engineers will develop the potential to progress to senior management positions.
This degree
The Master of Engineering delivers expert skills and applied competencies required for the professional engineer. It is designed to train and enhance professional practice, advance technical and specialist skills, and provide an opportunity to put theory into practice with applied projects and research. The degree also delivers communication, strategic and project management skills essential to the practising engineer.
What you will study
You will complete the core subjects in Engineering Computing, Project Management, Innovation & Design, and Research Methods.
For the Asset Management major you will study subjects in Financial Management, life-Cycle and Risk Management, Maintenance Requirements Analysis, Modelling of Engineering Management Systems, Project Implementation and Outsourcing, Sustainability for Engineers, Scientists and Professionals and Systems Reliability Engineering.
Course Learning Outcomes
Students graduating from the Master of Engineering will be able to:
Research and synthesise key information, and apply expert judgement in engineering design and project planning.
Interpret information and communication knowledge, ideas and procedures to both expert and non-expert audiences.
Employ independent learning strategies to update own knowledge in the field and keep pace with innovations in engineering techniques, industry trends and standards.

An Honours Bachelor degree in an appropriate discipline at Class II Division 2 or higher or appropriate Master of Philosophy with a strong thesis performance. Special Admission Requirements: All applicants for research degrees must submit a written (preferably typed) proposal as part of their application. This proposal should: commence with a statement detailing any previous research or project experience you have undertaken, including if possible a copy of the abstract of such work; contain, in no more than one additional page, a clearly focused research proposal for the study you would wish to undertake throughout your registration in the course; and conclude with a statement of your motivation for wanting to undertake the research course. English language requirements: IELTS - 6.5 (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking – 6.0); TOEFL – 88 (Reading, Writing, Listening, Speaking – 18).
