It provides graduates with not only the practical and theoretical aspects of computer science, but also an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and an awareness of social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of computer science in a global community. Students entering with a bachelor degree in the same discipline will be eligible to apply to follow a 54-unit pathway. Flexibility is built into the course and you have the opportunity to choose from a variety of elective topics. The program covers both advanced computing areas and professional studies. It gives you the opportunity to select coursework topics from a range of disciplines such as computer science, information technology, digital media, software engineering or mathematics. A masters project is normally taken in the final two semesters of study and develops research, communication and technical skills.
