The Diploma in Health Science (Nursing) is a pathway into QUT’s Bachelor of Nursing. Develop English language skills and progress without the need to take another IELTS test. On completion with the required results, receive a guaranteed place in your chosen degree with credit for prior learning (advanced standing) Study first year academic content. Progression to your related bachelor course To progress into the Bachelor of Nursing program you will need to: successfully complete your diploma with a minimum GPA of at least 4.0 obtain a minimum grade of 4 in Academic Communication 2 and Communication for the Health Professions. Course progression and advanced standing You are eligible for 84 credit points (7 units) of advanced standing into the Bachelor of Nursing February entry - 5 semesters to complete (includes 1 summer semester) July entry - 4 semesters to complete (includes 1 summer semester)
