From predicting weather patterns and optimising harvesting in agriculture, to improving patient diagnoses and treatment in the health industry and enhancing the management of remote infrastructure in mining. Optimising supply chain logistics in consumer goods, analysing the impact of policies on economic activities, and enhancing the performance of ultra-high frequency trading algorithms. This course is multidisciplinary, with fields of study in computing, statistics, emerging internet technologies, data and knowledge visualisation, user-experience studies and media as a means to communicate analysis results.
