In this major, you’ll learn how to communicate across a range of media and follow professional advertising processes and practice. Bringing together the theories and processes of creative advertising with the practical skills from other design areas, you’ll work on project-based briefs to generate and develop creative ideas that persuade, inform and educate audiences. Creative Advertising Design is offered as part of the Bachelor of Design. Throughout the three-year program, you’ll learn through project-based activities, and be given the opportunity to work together with students from other disciplines, mirroring a real industry environment. You can enhance your studies with a secondary major or choose from a range of elective units to support your career goals. High achieving students may complete an additional honours year enabling them to undertake their own significant research project.
