You will gain hands-on experience by developing strategies and pitching ideas for real organisations as well as undertaking a professional internship in your final year. Public Relations is offered as part of the Bachelor of Commerce. You can enhance your studies with a secondary major or choose from a range of elective units to support your career goals. When coupled with Journalism you can complete this major as part of our Bachelor of Commerce or our Bachelor of Arts. Your choice determines your core units. Professional recognition Curtin's Public Relations course is accredited by the Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) - the peak national professional body. The accreditation applies to both the Bachelor of Commerce and the Bachelor of Arts when students are enrolled in the Public Relations major.
