专业简介
Event management skills are valuable for planning and managing a variety of events such as festivals, concerts, shows, exhibitions, conferences, cultural and sporting events. This major provides you with the skills you need to work in event management in Australia and abroad.
Your study will include sustainable management of events, the impact of events on the local economy, the critical aspects of event planning and management, and the role of risk management.
You will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through field trips, assessments and industry speakers, and can gain a broad range of business management skills that you could apply to other industries.
Event management is offered as part of the Bachelor of Commerce. You can enhance your studies with a secondary major or choose from a range of elective units to support your career goals.
