The Master of Project Management (MProjMgt) is designed for postgraduate scholars who wish to develop a higher level understanding of the principles and practices of project management and to strengthen their skills in this area. The MProjMgt provides understanding and advanced analytical skills in the key areas required to manage a project.
The Master of Project Management is accredited by Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM) that provides the following benefits to the students:
The opportunity to become aligned with the premier project management industry body – AIPM
Can join AIPM as student-level members, allowing them access many membership benefits. They will be eligible to apply for associate membership as soon as they receive a formal qualification.
Professional development opportunities and certification pathways
Receive automatic certification at Certified Practising Project Practitioner (CPPP) level if they join AIPM as an Associate or Member. (note the RegPM assessment fee and competency assessment will be waived).
Confidence in the quality of course content and delivery
Assurance that the chosen course meets industry standards and reflect current best practice in project management.
Students undertaking the MProjMgt are required to complete 48 Units of Credit (UOC) by completing eight 6-UOC courses.
In the MProjMgt, students must complete two compulsory courses, two of the remaining three core courses, and four elective courses. Not all elective courses will be available in a particular year.
The courses in the program may be taken in any order but it is recommended that the two compulsory courses are completed first, followed by the remaining core courses, followed by the four elective courses.

English Language Requirements: IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) 577 overall (min. 5.0 in TWE); Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic - 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest; Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest).

There are six pathways for entry to The Master of Project Management (MProjMgt)
Pathway 1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree with Honours with a major in Management.
Pathway 2. Completion of a Graduate Diploma in Management.
Pathway 3. Completion of a 3 or 4-year Bachelor degree, which includes a major in Management, and have completed at least 3-years full-time professional experience in Management*.
Pathway 4. Completion of a Bachelor degree in any discipline, and have completed at least 4-years full-time professional experience in Management*.
Pathway 5. Evidence of other academic qualifications and professional experience submitted to the Program Authority to be acceptable grounds for admission into the degree.
Pathway 6. No tertiary qualifications but evidence of professional experience submitted to the relevant Program Authority to be acceptable grounds for admission into the degree*.
*Pathway 3, 4, 5 and 6 - Evidence for professional experience:
The evidence required for validation of professional experience will include a statement of service from the employer verifying the position, role and responsibilities, and duration of employment.
