The Faculty of Engineering offers a two year Masters Degree program. The program comprises streams leading to a Master of Engineering. Flexibility and choice are maintained throughout the two year program by providing many elective courses. It serves as an entry point for students to move into the engineering profession.
The proposed Masters Degree program is designed to enable students to fulfil a number of needs including:
Acquiring in-depth knowledge within a chosen discipline.
Deeper project experience.
Increased technical confidence across selected research discipline(s).
Developing and expanding knowledge and skills in engineering management.
Providing opportunities for continuing professional development.
Providing students with flexible pathways for completion of courses and a master degree qualification.
Updating qualifications and knowledge to meet/ maintain professional accreditation standards.
The Telecommunications stream enables students to specialise, and gain depth of knowledge, in areas related to recent and advanced aspects of telecommunications, including wireless communications, satellite communications, quantum communications, switching and routers, advanced network architecture, network operation and control, advanced modulation and coding techniques and GPS.

English Language Requirements: IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) 577 overall (min. 5.0 in TWE); Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic - 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest; Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest).
国际学生入学条件
Entry into this Master's program requires the completion of a 4-year non-accredited (under the Washington Accord) Bachelor of Engineering degree (or equivalent) in a cognate discipline. Alternatively, eligible applicants include those who hold a 3-year Engineering Science degree in a cognate discipline, at least equivalent to the first three years of an Engineering degree accredited under the Washington accord. A minimum overall average of at least 65%, or equivalent, over the duration of the qualifying Bachelor's degree is also required. A pathway for entry into the program for graduates from both 4-year Bachelor of Engineering degrees in non-cognate disciplines, and 3-year Bachelor of Science degrees, exists via enrolment first into the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) program, where advanced standing (to a maximum of 2 years) may be granted.

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest)
