专业简介
The one-year Master of Education degree is designed for qualified teachers and other educational professionals who wish to study education at an advanced level.
This stream is offered in the Master of Education program. It is a specialist stream in the MEd program with a focus on cognitive processes and their implications for teaching techniques and instructional design. The stream is designed to provide deeper insights into human development, learning, thinking, motivation and individual differences within the framework of cognitive load theory.
Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate an advanced capacity to recognise and negotiate the complex and often contested values and ethical practices that underlie education
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of research-based learning and the ability to plan, analyse, present implement and evaluate complex activities that contribute to advanced professional practice and/or intellectual scholarship in education.
Demonstrate advanced critical thinking and problem solving skills
Communicate effectively to a range of audiences, and be capable of independent and collaborative enquiry and team-based leadership
Demonstrate an understanding of international perspectives relevant to the educational field
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of Educational Psychology as it relates to your specialist area of study, and the ability to synthesize and apply disciplinary principles and practices to new or complex environments.

A recognised Bachelor degree and a postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g. Graduate Diploma of Education or Master of Teaching)
OR
A four year pre-service teacher education qualification, including professional experience, equivalent to the qualifications required for Graduate teacher status in NSW.

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest)
