专业简介
Construction project management embraces the principles of project management and applies them across different phases of the construction project development cycle to achieve successful project outcomes in terms of time, cost, quality, safety, and sustainability. This program has been designed to provide excellent opportunities to students for advanced study in construction project management in either full time or part time modes. The program aims at improving proficiency of practitioners in the construction industry to meet current and future challenges. The program allows students to learn not only about the general management and project management principles and techniques, but also to apply them in managing construction projects.
Program Structure
Students must complete 72 UOC as a standalone program.
Learning Outcomes
Demonstrate an advanced understanding of the construction project management body of knowledge, including established theories and recent developments relevant to the discipline or professional field.
Apply construction project management principles and practices to new or complex environments.
Critically evaluate contemporary debates and literatures in construction project management.
Demonstrate a high level of personal autonomy and accountability in the acquisition or application of knowledge or skills
Demonstrate an understanding of international perspectives relevant to the construction management discipline and the construction industry.
Demonstrate cultural awareness, environmental and social responsibility, and a respect for diversity
Demonstrate a high level understanding of the principles of teamwork and collaboration and be apply these in their professional roles within the construction sector.

For the 1.5 year (72 UOC) program: Undergraduate degree with a credit average in a related* field OR Undergraduate degree in any field with a credit average plus 3 years construction industry experience at a managerial level OR Graduate certificate in CPM with a credit average
For the 1 year (48 UOC) program: Undergraduate Honours degree with a credit average in a related* field OR Undergraduate Honours degree with a credit average in a unrelated field honours plus 3 years construction industry experience at a managerial level OR Masters degree with a credit average in a Related* field
*Related field: Studies in built environment disciplines, engineering, business or law.
English Language requirements:

UNSW Institute of Languages University English Entry Course (UEEC): Successful completion with a minimum overall grade of C+ and a minimum grade of C in the writing component.
Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE): 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest)
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest)
