专业简介
This program is available for students who wish to exit the Master of Health Management degree program after completing the core courses.
This program has been designed to provide students with the essential knowledge, skills and attributes required for senior managerial roles in health service delivery.
Program Structure
Students must complete 36 UOC as a standalone program.
1. Compulsory courses - 18 UOC
2. Prescribed elective Courses - 18 UOC
Learning Outcomes
Integrate advanced knowledge and skills to critically analyse health care systems and policy contexts to inform health management strategies underpinned by recent scholarship in health organizations and leadership;
Appraise health service needs and undertake strategic planning, policy-making and health workforce improvement to enhance service outcomes using contemporary disciplinary theories, techniques and scholarship;
Demonstrate capacity for leading and managing in complex health settings including undertaking research driven quality and safety improvement processes;
Demonstrate capacity to initiate, plan, implement and/or evaluate health management projects and/or programs in a range of practice contexts informed by current theoretical debates, techniques and evidence based practices;
Demonstrate multidisciplinary ways of working and high level skills in communicating, working in teams and advocacy to enhance health service outcomes;
Demonstrate sophisticated cultural awareness and a global perspective for working productively as health service professionals in local, national and international settings;
Demonstrate ability to engage in scholarly inquiry, ethical commitment and critical reflective practice for informing professional practice in health service management.

English Language Requirements: IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall (min. 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT): 90 overall (min. 23 in writing, 22 in reading, listening and speaking); TOEFL - Paper-based Test (PBT) 577 overall (min. 5.0 in TWE); Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic - 64 overall (min. 54 in each subtest); Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) - 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest; Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - 176 overall (min.169 in each subtest).

Applicants are required to have either:
An undergraduate degree in a field relevant to public health or health management (see list below)* and two years full-time professional or volunteer experience. This may also include equivalent professional experience acquired as part of a degree of 4 or more years duration (e.g. MBBS, MD)
OR
An undergraduate degree plus an honours or postgraduate degree in a field relevant to public health or health management (see list below)*
(*Examples include, but are not restricted to, medicine, nursing, allied health, health sciences, biomedical sciences, dentistry, social work, sociology, behavioural and social sciences, psychology, marketing, human services, emergency services, environmental health, veterinary science, health administration, business, management, engineering, law, science, mathematics and statistics, economics, policy studies and development studies.)

Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE): 180 overall (min.180 in each subtest)
