专业简介
The Bachelor of Business in Convention and Event Management positions graduates at the centre of the fast-growing events industry. Students acquire the skills and knowledge required to pursue a career in the management, planning and marketing of corporate events, conventions and meetings, festivals and special events.
A compulsory internship is a key feature of this course and counts as four compulsory units of the degree. During this internship, students establish valuable industry experience, and develop their professional confidence and networks.
This course offers an optional international exchange program for second-year students to study overseas.
Major areas of study
While the course has no majors, students study areas including festival and special events planning; event operations management; facility and risk management; production planning and management; and convention and exhibition planning. The course has a strong focus on the convention, conferencing and event industries.

Other English Language Requirements accepted: TOEFL (paper based) score of 570; Pearson test of English (PTE) academic general score of 64; Cambridge English: advanced (CAE) general score of 58; Occupational English test (OET) score of Grade B or above.

Applicants must have IELTS - 6.0 with no band less than 5.5; CPE - 52; CAE - 52; TOEFL PBT - 550 min 4.5 (TWE); TOEFL iBT- 60 with no less than 17 in writing & speaking, no less than 11 in reading & listening; PTE - 50 with no communicative score less than 46; ISPLR - 3+ or better in all 4 skills; CEFR - B2.
