This course is ideal for motivated people seeking to develop a career in accounting. Students in this course will begin to develop business and accounting skills in line with requirements from the major Australian professional accounting bodies.

In this course you will begin to develop business and accounting skills in line with requirements from the major Australian professional accounting bodies.
If you are a postgraduate student wanting to develop a career in accounting but do not meet the criteria for the Master of Professional Accounting you may consider enrolling in this course. Upon successful completion of this course you will be allowed to enrol in the Graduate Diploma of Professional Accounting, and will receive credit for the units completed in the Graduate Certificate.

Applicants must have completion of an honours degree or a bachelor degree at a high level of academic performance in a relevant discipline. English Language Requirements: IELTS academic overall 6.0 (with no band less than 5.5); TOEFL (internet-based) overall 75 (with no score less than 17); PTE Academic overall 54 (with no score less than 46); CAE and CPE overall 169 (with no band less than 154).

Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree with the equivalent to an Australian pass grade average in the final two terms, from a recognised Higher Education institution. Other entry pathways such as relevant work experience and/or a combination of qualifications may also be considered.
English requirements: IELTS Academic - 6.0 with no individual band score of less than 5.5; TOEFL Internet-based - Overall score of 75 with no score less than 17; Pearson Test of English Academic - Overall score of 54 with no score less than 46; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE), Cambridge English: Proficiency (CPE) - Overall test score of 169 (with no individual band score of less than 154).
