This unique, two-year degree provides an interdisciplinary study of the interaction between children, texts and media, along with the opportunity to study and live in at least two European countries. You will be able to engage with an array of cultural events related to children’s literature and media, and participate in a placement with a practitioner organisation. This is a unique programme that draws on the recognised strengths of the consortium partners to offer a joint degree that engages in children’s literature, media and culture. Graduates will develop key skills sought by many employers, including the ability to find, select and analyse texts and empirical data; confident and persuasive oral and written communication skills; and problem solving through creative and critical thinking. The programme provides excellent preparation for careers in media, education and literacy, publishing, archive and information studies, heritage and creative industries, as well as a springboard for PhD study and an academic career.
