专业简介
This Masters in Computer Systems Engineering exposes students to state-of-the-art miniaturised and mobile computer systems and smart device technology, allowing them to acquire the complementary hardware and software knowledge and skills required for understanding and designing such systems. You will be taught jointly by the Schools of Engineering and Computing Science. You will benefit from their combined resources and expertise and from an industry-focused curriculum. If you are a computer engineering graduate, this programme will enhance your knowledge; if you are an electronic engineering graduate you can focus on developing your software skills; or if you are computer science graduate you can focus on developing your hardware skills. On completion of this course career opportunities include positions in software development, chip design, embedded system design, telecommunications, video systems, automation and control, aerospace, development of PC peripherals and FPGA programming, defence and services for the heavy industries, for example generator and industrial motor control systems, etc.

Graduates of national quality Chinese universities with a GPA of 3.2 or above or an average score of 80% and above will be considered. Grades in relevant subjects will be accorded greater significance and entry will be entirely at the discretion of the University of Glasgow. We can accept top-up honours degrees with the final year at a UK or other university but we normally require 60% or equivalent (2.1) standard in all courses in the final year of the degree.
