This programme seeks to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and critical understanding of the institutions, rules and principles of the international economic system, as well as of key legal and policy issues arising from the globalisation of the world economy. This programme is designed provide an advanced understanding of the law, institutions and policy concerning international economic relations and their ongoing development by the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation, the World Bank, and the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.

Students should have a good first degree from a recognised institution, with minimum grades of between 80-85%. This is the University’s general minimum requirement but some programmes may have specific qualification requirements as well. Entry requirements vary from course to course and in cases there is also variation in the standards required for entry to certain courses. Courses in great demand are likely to require higher entry grades.
