This course Centre for Doctoral Training in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Innovation in Medical and Biological Engineering will provide postgraduate research and training for 50 students, to research, develop and deliver regenerative therapies and devices, which can repair or replace diseased tissues and restore normal tissue function. By using novel scaffolds in conjunction with the patient's own (autologous) cells, effective a cellular regenerative therapies for tissue repair can be developed at a lower cost, reduced time and reduced risk, compared to alternative and more complex cell therapy approaches.

For Postgraduate qualification, students need to have 4 year Bachelor degrees or 1-2 year Masters: for courses requiring 2.1, students should have percentage of 75% (Prestigious), 80% (Non Prestigious), 85% (Independent college), for courses requiring 2.2 needs to have percentage of 70% (Prestigious), 75% (Non Prestigious), 80% (Independent college). The entry requirements are usually referred in terms of standard British qualifications (good honors degree). However, applications from students with equivalent qualifications are also accepted.
