This course applied mathematics is a broad subject and research in the Department covers a wide range of applications as well as fundamental research in analytical and numerical methods. Multidisciplinary collaboration is a feature of the research activities carried out and staff have extensive contacts with a variety of industries and other research establishments.

For Postgraduate qualification, students need to have 4 year Bachelor degrees or 1-2 year Masters: for courses requiring 2.1, students should have percentage of 75% (Prestigious), 80% (Non Prestigious), 85% (Independent college), for courses requiring 2.2 needs to have percentage of 70% (Prestigious), 75% (Non Prestigious), 80% (Independent college). The entry requirements are usually referred in terms of standard British qualifications (good honors degree). However, applications from students with equivalent qualifications are also accepted.
