This three-year course gives you substantial knowledge of planning while offering the freedom to study a broader range of topics. The learning and assessment percentages could vary depending on the modules you choose. Most of our graduates go on to work in planning or a related career in the built environment professions, including housing, transport planning, development control, forward planning, regeneration, urban design, heritage and conservation. Employers include private and public sector organisations such as Jones Lang LaSalle, Birmingham City Council, Arup and Network Rail. More than half of our graduate planners take up posts with planning consultancies and several are employed by major global built environment firms.
