The aim of this course is to train landscape architects who also understand planning and how design proposals affect the environment. You'll study urban theory, planning and practice, and the complex relationship between people and the environment. The course is designed to meet the needs of the modern profession. You'll work on real landscape projects that are developed through experimentation and discussion in the design studio. You'll develop skills in team working, presentation, project management and IT. This course also includes local, national and European field trips.  The learning and assessment percentages could vary depending on the modules you choose. On completion of this course our graduates are in demand: industry figures come to our end-of-year degree shows and advertise vacancies with us. There are opportunities to help improve communities in the UK and abroad, in private sector consultancies, community development agencies, local authorities and national governments.
