This course will give you practical and theoretical training in both topographical human anatomy and the pedagogy associated with teaching the discipline. You will develop a detailed knowledge of the human body through comprehensive cadaveric dissection while also training to become an accredited anatomy teacher. The course gives you the chance to develop your knowledge and skills by teaching undergraduate anatomy students. You'll carry out a research project in an area of interest, cementing your anatomical and pedagogic knowledge. When you have completed the course, you'll be eligible to apply for Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, the professional accreditation required of education practitioners in higher education in the UK.
