This is a dual honours course run by the Sheffield University Management School and the School of Mathematics and Statistics. Your time is split equally between the two subjects. You'll get a good grounding in both, which opens up all kinds of career possibilities from human resource management to meteorology. The maths side of the course includes some applied mathematics, and probability and statistics, but you don't need any prior knowledge of these subjects.  The learning and assessment percentages could vary depending on the modules you choose. Graduates from all our courses go to work for companies like Amazon, Barclays, Boots, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Marks & Spencer, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Procter & Gamble, Rolls-Royce, Santander and Tesco, in accounting, customer relations, human resource management, information systems, marketing, and operations management and strategy. Our graduates find work with multinationals and NGOs because they know how to deal with the international market and they understand the social and cultural aspects of doing business on a global scale. Many of our graduates are successful entrepreneurs and consultants.
